Playgrounds International Film Festival
Sun 23 Mar 11:15

The love for cinema has no age! During Playgrounds International Film Festival even the youngest cinephiles can enjoy an exciting program! Curated by Taart Rovers and set up in collaboration with Cinemini, we are very excited to bring you a special selection of animated short films featuring paper friends going on wonderful adventures.

During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase beautiful, sweet, exciting, abstract, narrative, and sometimes even challenging short films, specially curated for toddlers and preschoolers. Afterward, young visitors can play together in a light landscape, featuring various installations that allow children to explore how light can create stories through play.

They investigate shapes, projection, light, shadow, storytelling, movement, and color. How do shadows form? Where do images come from? How do shapes grow or shrink, and how do they disappear into nothingness? And what stories can they see in these shapes?

For adults, shadows are something obvious, but for children, they might be a magician that turns grown-ups into towering giants.
