Nowadays, we grow up in a society with a fast visual culture. We are constantly being stimulated by a stream of images through older and newer media platforms. How do we learn to deal with this? One of the ways is by learning more about film and visual language. By paying attention to visual language in film, children and young people are challenged to be critical, to analyze and reflect. Natlab is the place to do this.

PRIMARY EDUCATION
In our in-depth education programs for primary education, students are challenged to view quality arthouse films with a critical eye and to reflect on them. They discover the world of film themselves through various workshops with a focus on the 21st-century skills working together, critical and creative thinking.

SEE
At Natlab you discover quality arthouse films. In these films, the emphasis is on the experimental, artistic and / or social message. We teach pupils and students to watch films critically. Look beyond what's in front of you, learn to express your opinion and start a conversation.
DISCOVER
At Natlab we like to think along about a tailor-made programme and offer the opportunity to have an in-depth conversation before or after the film or to participate in a challenging workshop. It is also possible to bring film into the classroom with tailor-made programmes.
EXPERIENCE
Natlab is a lively movie theater, which differs from an "ordinary" cinema. We offer pupils and students a complete cultural experience, with an explanation of the history of the location, current films and exhibitions.
