Special guest for this screening is Dan Ojari – award winning animation writer and director and co-founder of Parabella Studio with long-time collaborator, Mikey Please. Together they produced shorts, idents and commercials. They also developed long-form projects such as Robin Robin, Alan The Infinite and Deadrock, a graphic novel. Robin Robin took them to Aardman, where they made it into a Netflix original and in 2022 it was nominated for an Oscar. He now lives in Bristol, working at Aardman by day and by night making the odd children’s book and occasional wooden spoon.

Aardman is a British animation studio based in Bristol. It is known for films and television series made using stop motion and clay animation techniques, particularly those featuring its plasticine characters from Wallace & Gromit, Chicken Run, Shaun the Sheep, and Morph.
