January 2020. Director Xiaorui's film crew gathers at a hotel near Wuhan to resume a previously interrupted film production. The shoot is almost finished when rumors about a new virus begin to circulate.

Part of the crew manages to get home just in time, but the rest are stranded in the hotel with the arrival of a lockdown, with only their screens for company.
