The tough Ket is the guitarist and leader of a popular cricket band. Their mission is to entertain all carefree insects with their music. Mierabella is the heiress of the anthill in the neighborhood. Music is forbidden in their country and the ants only know discipline and hard work. By chance they meet each other and immediately form a strong bond. Mierabella discovers that music is not as dangerous as she has always been taught. Crickets do not believe in winter, but they are in danger. Mierabella tries in vain to warn the insects through her music. When Mierabella is kidnapped by an overly fanatical ant, it is Ket and his friends who come to her rescue. Will they succeed in saving Mierabella before winter?
