Interim Hospitality Manager

Due to the long-term sick leave of our current manager, we are urgently looking for an Interim Hospitality Manager for 32 – 36 hours per week.

As the Interim Hospitality Manager, you will have the final responsibility for all hospitality operations, leading both the kitchen and service teams. You play a connecting role within the organization, and with your commitment, curiosity, and inspiring character, you know exactly how to make our guests and your colleagues eager to visit Natlab. You share your love for hospitality with your team and enjoy working on the floor. Additionally, there are also administrative tasks to handle, but you will have support from colleagues in finance and HR. The team and service are growing, giving you the opportunity to shape the hospitality experience with your creativity and expertise.

Your Responsibilities

  • Building and leading a strong team while coaching them to provide optimal service to our guests.
  • Delivering financial figures and reports related to hospitality operations.
  • Leading the entire hospitality team.
  • Working both on the floor and in the office.
  • Ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience in our café-restaurant while maintaining a healthy financial operation.

Who You Are

  • You know how to motivate and inspire your team.
  • You are guest-oriented with a big, welcoming smile.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and excellent organizational skills.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • You have a higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking

What We Offer

  • Salary for 36 hours ranges from €3175 to €4456 gross, in accordance with the Dutch Podium Arts CAO, scale 7, depending on your experience in the field. 
  • Travel allowance from 10 km one-way.
  • Free access to all films and programs at Natlab.
