Niko travels to the North to retrieve the stolen sled and discovers the real power of friendship and self-confidence along the way. After an emotional farewell, Niko leaves his mother, brother and sister behind to make his biggest dream come true: joining the Flying Brigade, together with his father! Suddenly Stella appears, a surprising challenger who also wants to win a place in the brigade.

Although they have to compete against each other, they actually get along well. Niko even trusts her enough to show her where Santa's sleigh is hidden. But just before Christmas Eve, the unthinkable happens: Stella steals the sleigh! Niko feels betrayed and wants to make his father proud again. Determined, he travels to the cold North to retrieve the lost sled. Fortunately, he gets help from his loyal friends Wilma and Julius. Together they embark on an exciting adventure, full of challenges and difficult choices that will forever determine the future of the Flying Brigade. Along the way, Niko learns, with support from both old and new friends, how to follow his own path.
