This dark comedy is the directorial debut of popular writer Dimitri Verhulst, known for, among other things, The Misfortunates. He also wrote the script. In the film, a motley crew sets out on foot to bury the recently deceased Christine, according to her last will, in a completely unknown village.

When family and friends want to bury the recently deceased Christine, they are told by her notary that she wanted to be buried in Wettelen. This is to the great astonishment of her husband and children who do not even know where the village is. During the traditional funeral procession, which Christine also had recorded in her will, the group discovers that no one really knows who Christine was. Old intrigues soon come to light and when the resting place is reached, all family ties are thoroughly shaken.
