Figaro is getting married and in the Almaviva household it promises to be a turbulent day full of revelations and scandal. Mozart's opera buffa is full of twists, forbidden desires and unforgettable melodies, in which irresistible comedy alternates with moments of breathtaking beauty.

Count Almaviva lives with his Countess on their estate near Seville. The Count wants Susanna, his wife's maid, who is about to marry Figaro, the Count's servant. Much to Figaro's dismay, the Count plans to seduce Susanna on the night of the wedding. Meanwhile, Cherubino, the Count's young page, has his eye on the Countess, but has just been fired after being caught with Barbarina, the daughter of the gardener Antonio. Figaro decides that he must foil the Count's attempt to seduce his future bride and enlists the help of the Countess, Susanna and Cherubino, with Cherubino disguising himself as a woman. What follows is a whole series of mistaken identities, misunderstandings and disrupted plans, in which all the characters participate and in which everyone tries to get what - and who - he wants.
