Kluizelaar

There is a square. Is it a house? 
There is a sound coming from inside it. What is happening inside? 
A flap opens. Is there anything inside? 
What is inside? Who is inside? 
 
As Hermit, the show travels through Scotland, Ireland, France, Portugal, Israel, Egypt and China, among others. In both 2017 and 2018, Kluizelaar was included in TF Jong. 

ABOUT SIMONE DE JONG COMPANY
Simone de Jong Company's performances are characterised by their imagination, humour and inventiveness. Images, sound and movement are the basis for touching, challenging and inspiring children. Earlier performances have included Eiland, Kluizelaar, WalvisJong, Timtim en (Flamenco) Fluisterstad. Kluizelaar travels successfully around the world as Hermit.  
 
Simone de Jong herself comes from modern mime and musical theatre and is also a children's book writer. She wrote Het geheim van meneer Hartjes (Clavis, 2016) and Op zoek naar het groene goud (Clavis, 2021).
